ESTABLISHMENT HISTORY College of Information Management and Computer AMIKOM Yogyakarta

School of Information Management and Computer AMIKOM Yogyakarta (hereinafter referred to STMIK AMIKOM YOGYAKARTA) is one of the private university located in Lahore District DIY Province under the auspices of the Foundation AMIKOM Yogyakarta.
STMIK AMIKOM YOGYAKARTA is a college results development of the Academy of Information Management and Computer "AMIKOM YOGYAKARTA". AMIKOM Yogyakarta as a higher education institution established under the decision of the Minister of Education and Culture of Republic of Indonesia. 084/D/O/1994 on the Granting of Status Registered to Programs / Study Program for the Study Program AMIKOM D-III in Yogyakarta in Yogyakarta and under the auspices of the Foundation "AMIKOM YOGYAKARTA".
Yogyakarta has AMIKOM Studies Program Information Management and Information Technology. These courses each managed by a Head of Department and Secretary of the Department are supported by The Lecturers, and Administrative Staff.
Overall academic institution was headed by a Director assisted by several Assistant Director, Academic Executive, Executive Administratatif Elements, Technical Execution Unit, Elements of Research and Development and several other supporting elements.
In 2002, D-3 program has been in the Information Management Accreditation by the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education with SK BAN PT Number: 010/BAN-PT/Ak-I/Dpl-III/VIII/2002 and gain accreditation A.
Along with advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as well as to meet the needs of experts who understand and are skilled in these fields, then AMIKOM add the S-1, and transformed into STIMIK AMIKOM YOGYAKARTA.
Based on the Decree of the Minister of National Education Republic of Indonesia dated 24 April 2002, No.. 75/D/O/2002 about Operation Permit Granting Programs Study and Establishment of the College of Informatics and Computer Management (STMIK) AMIKOM Yogyakarta in Yogyakarta (Changes in the shape of AMIKOM) organized by the Foundation AMIKOM Yogyakarta in Yogyakarta.
Under the decree, STMIK AMIKOM YOGYAKARTA given permission to conduct the study program:

   
A. Information Engineering for the Bachelor level (S1)
   
2. Information system for the level of Bachelor (S1)
   
3. Information Management for Diploma level - III (D-3)
   
4. Information Technology Diploma Program for the level-III (D-3)
Implementation Program for Information Systems Bachelor level (S1) is specifically supported by the Ministry of Education, the Director General of Higher Education letter No. 2704/D/T/2004 about Operation Permit Extension Studies Program at STMIK AMIKOM YOGYAKARTA.

STMIK Amikom Yogyakarta as one private university in Indonesia has been paralleled by a variety of world-class universities by the UNESCO. The UN Board of Education set a few colleges of many of the world as a demonstration model for other universities. This example is the classification of higher education financing model is categorized in the UNESCO report, namely "A New Dynamics Private Higher Education".

   
No end of 2009 United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) published a report, "A New Dynamics: Private Higher Education". In Chapter Public-Private Partnerships Best Featured 8 PTS world; one from Yogyakarta Indonesia, namely the College of Informatics and Computer Management (STMIK) Amikom Yogyakarta.
Eight PTS is more is as follows: Shantou University (China), Harvard University (USA), Mulungushi University (Zambia), The Asian University for Women (Ow) (Bangladesh), STMIK Amikom yogyakarta (Indonesia), University of Phoenix (USA) , University of Hong Kong (China) and Creativie Linkokwing University of Technology (Malaysia).

     
Commenting on the report "A New Dynamics Private Higher Education", Prof. Ki Supriyoko MPd SDU, as director of the Graduate UST Yogyakarta, write an opinion paper published in the 23/02/2010 edition of People's Sovereignty Yogyakarta. The core text is STMIK AMIKOM Yogyakarta became the world's best private universities in terms of financial independence, because it does not get sepersenpun  STMIK AMIKOM  government assistance. So 100 percent of the funding comes from the creativity of students and managers.
     
Of course, Prof. Ki Supriyoko firm, was named the college pilot model in the world stage is something you are proud. It also proves that AMIKOM been paralleled by a variety of world-class universities by the UNESCO.
     
AMIKOM also been proven that private colleges will not lose either in terms of academic achievement and in terms of student creativity.When in reality many (faculty and students) PTS who received assistance from the government would need to be aware that assistance is provided by selectively-prestatif. Selective means that aid is not granted to all private universities, while it only meant PTS prestatif achievers are given financial assistance by the government. Although many private universities receive financial assistance from the government but still more that PTS did
not get it. Those were not a barrier to achievement. STMIK Amikom already proved, with the independence agency may be the best private universities in the world. Starting from a rented building for the college has now been accomplished in the world.

Bunaken National Park: Life Under the Sea Amazing and very beautiful

YOGYAKARTA (often also called Jogja, Yogyakarta or Jogja) is located in central Java - Indonesia. Komodo National Park

These animals are in say a dragon, but this animal is not flying and belching fire there is no magic spell. And still it is said the dragon. These dragons, dragons real life, in contrast to television as well as in a fairy tale. Giant, lizard like creature is about two or three feet. They can easily weigh about 165 pounds. Although the sheer size and appearance, they are not active hunters. What makes them intimidating is the fact that they are predators of patients. After following the victim for a while, sometimes up to several days, then the dragons will devour its prey dying.
 
In 1980 the national park was established to protect the Komodo dragon and its habitat. There are 277 species of animal that is a mix of animals that come from Asia and Australia, which consists of 32 species of mammals, 128 species of birds and 37 species of reptiles. Together with dragons, at least 25 species of land animals and birds including the protected animals, because their numbers are limited, or limited their deployment.
These islands were originally volcanic islands.

Komodo dragons (Varanus komodoensis) is a rare species found only on Komodo National Park (KNP) in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Due to the unique and rare nature of this animal, TNK declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.
